Pandora was founded in 1982 in Copenhagen, Denmark and is a designer, manufacturer, and marketer of hand finished and modern jewellery made from genuine materials and at affordable prices. It is now in 40 different countries and we are very pleased to be able to have this wonderful brand in all of our three shops.
Pandora originally started off with the charm bracelet and has since expanded its range to offer a selection of Mix and Match Jewellery, Liquid Silver and Love Pods. All ranges are absolutely stunning and show completely new styles of Pandora or than the charm bracelet.
The concept of Pandora is to first start off with a bracelet, the uniqueness of the Pandora bracelet is that the charms are threaded on and it can be separated into three sections. To separate the bracelet into three sections you need to purchase two clips that clip over the nodules on the bracelet. Spacers are designed to create different levels in the bracelet and can be purchased to create this affect. The safety-chain one of the most important necessities of the Pandora collection, it prevents you loosing your charms should your clasp suddenly open or become damaged. Finally which charms to choose is all down to you the wearer or the one buying the gift, what do they love, an important event coming up, passing an exam, birthday, anniversary, children, animals, a memory between friends, the lists are endless, the most important thing is that it is a story of life’s memories, so no bracelet will ever be completely the same!
Take care with your Pandora bracelet, it is a piece of jewellery and can break with force and mistreatment. Do not dip your bracelet in any solution as this will damage it and be careful with pearls and semi-precious stones as these too can become damaged with certain sprays and chemicals.
Our tip for cleaning your bracelet is firstly removing all your charms you can put them in warm soapy water and with a brush gently removing the dirt etc. Then dry your items off and buff them with a sterling silver polishing cloth. This process would be for all of the Pandora Jewellery collection however if you are cleaning your items regularly you will only need the polishing cloth to remove the tarnish and maintain its shine.
